Licensing Program Overview.
FARONICS TECHNOLOGIES is the maker of software utilities such as Deep Freeze and Power Save.
Deep Freeze is a desktop protection software (e.g. for computers located in labs). All changes made after installing Deep Freeze are temporary and the computer is restored after restart. Latest versions include v4.20 Workstation ARD (MAC), and v6.40 Enterprise (2000/XP/Vista).
Power Save is a desktop automatic energy saving software (e.g. for computers located in labs). The software puts computers in deep sleep mode as specified. Latest versions are v2.02 (MAC), and v3.10 (WIN).

This licensing program is only available to departments - not to individuals.
The software must be installed on University owned computer(s), and computer(s)
must be located within University facilities (including all campuses and extensions).

Home and Portable Copies.
No home use is authorized. If you want to install the software on a
home computer, you must purchase a 'Home Edition' copy from the vendor.
Departments must purchase separate licenses for portable computers.

Licenses Expiration and Renewal.
The product runs forever. The license includes free
product upgrades up to December 31st of the purchasing year Pass that
period, you must purchase new licenses if you wish to up date.
